Obituary for Annette Marie Szymczak

Annette Marie Szymczak
Annette Marie Szymczak, age 63, of Tucson, Arizona, left this earth to live among the stars on September 6, 2017. Annette was born April 6, 1954, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Albin and Hilaria (Gorski) Szymczak, now deceased. She was preceded in death by her older twin sisters Elizabeth Szymczak and Pauline Szymczak Rossi. In her late twenties, Annette moved to the Southwest, first to New Mexico, then Texas, and finally Arizona to be near family. Annette loved the desert and the mountains and talked often of her many travels to ghost towns and other unfamiliar places. She led a simple life after caring for her parents for over 25 years. Her friends were the store clerks at Safeway, Sprouts, CVS Pharmacy and her apartment complex, Mission Palms, where she resided for 10 years. Annette is survived by her sister, Marcia Stenman (Bob) of Tucson, her nephews Peter Szymczak (Portland, OR) and Christopher Meinerz (Karen) of Ahwatukee, AZ, and two great nieces that she loved dearly, Simone and Tatum Meinerz. She is also survived by many first and second cousins who will remember her with love. Annette wished to be cremated with her remains scattered in the desert and the mountains. No further services are to be held. Annette was pretty, smart, loved the SYFY and cooking TV channels, and Twizzlers. She never left the house without her makeup on, her hair in place and wearing a carefully chosen outfit. Annette, we will always love you. “Do czasu Spotykamy sie ponowie – Until we meet again.” Online condolences can be made at www.desertsunsetfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Desert Sunset Cremation & Funeral Services, Tucson, AZ.
