Condolence: Thank you, Montoya family, for allowing me to be a small part of your lives this past year. Although my grief at losing a best friend is not as great as losing a husband, father or brother, it is still immeasurable to me. I can not put into words how much you have helped me deal with Roy's passing. All of you will always be a part of my prayers for, and memories of, a great, great man: Roy A. Montoya.

Condolence From: Patrina Mitchell
Condolence: I send my deepest condolences to you during this difficult time. I can't even begin to imagine how painful this is for you all. May Jehovah God provide you the strength you need to cope with this difficult situation. The Bible provides hope that you will be reunited with your loved one at Acts 24:15, which states, "there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." I hope this message provides some comfort to friends and family, and I again offer my sincere condolences.

Condolence: I'm not Roy in 1967 when his family moved across the street from me behind Magee junior high, I think I was around 12 and he was about 13 years old used to hang out at his house while his brothers worked on their hot rods, I had a crush on him used to go down to the barbershop and hang out with him and friends over the years I ended up renting a place from his dad and live next to Sue and his two girls, I was a babysitter at times. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.. my prayers are with family and friends of Roy R.I.P. My old friend....Sam😂

Condolence: There was no better husband, father, friend or patriot than Roy A. Montoya. He absolutely adored his family, and spoke of them all the time. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends and he loved giving to veterans in whatever way he could.

I miss you a lot, RoBro. God blessed me when we became friends.

Condolence: It is difficult to convey the depths of my sense of loss and sadness after hearing of Roy's passing. He was, is and will always be my friend. Although we lost touch over the 48 year span of our friendship, on the occasions we did reunite, the years melted away and our conversation and thoughts picked up where we had left off. I hope Roy knew how I valued this friendship. My prayers and sympathy are with the entire Montoya family.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Roy he was the best boss and such a good friend. He was a funny and caring soul. He found out my dad fought in the Korean War and sent my dad a thank you card with a baseball cap. Roy was always so kind and thoughtful. He spoke about his family everyday he was a proud father and grandfather he loved his family dearly. He will will be dearly missed but I am ever so blessed that God blessed me with his friendship. May God bless his family and friends with strength and happiness.
