GLUCK, Frances D. Passed away peacefully on April 28, 2017 in her home. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm in life and for her dedication to her husband, Michael and their children. Frances was born in New York City in 1930, her parents ran a travel agency prior to WWII, giving her skills in planning and "exploring the new". Frances was also raised by her mother's parents in St. Louis. They shared a love for their summer cottage in Wequetonsing, MI. She worked as a travel agent and as an administrative assistant before moving with her husband to Kalamazoo, MI. Frances graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA while raising her children. After Michael's retirement, they moved to Tucson. She valued new friends and old. She cared for her husband in his later years, and continued to enjoy playing bridge, seeing theatrical productions, and spending summers in northern Michigan. She will be buried in St. Louis next to her husband and three children that died in infancy. She is survived by her son, Geoffrey Gluck in Michigan and his three children, Samantha Lee Anne, Amanda Jeane and Michael Howard, as well as nine great-grandchildren and her daughter, Leslie Smith and husband, Peter and three children, Sarah Hadley, Christopher Arden and Emily Adelaide. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 7650 N. Paseo Del Norte.
